Just bought a brand new truck. The best experience I have ever had at a dealership. Knowledgeable sales staff. No pressure sales. Cathy Brown was awesome to work with and was patient with me will I sat on the fence about buying the truck. Another family member also bought a SUV from Cathy about 4months ago. When talking with Cathy she remember details about my families life that i would not expect someone to pay attention about or care about. Felt like running into a old friend. I could go on about the good experience... bottom line. If your looking for a vehicle in Southern Alberta or western Canada. Give them a shout.
Cathy and Chad were extremely helpful when purchasing my new truck. Through the test drive to the final signing on the vehicle they explained every step and process through out the whole process. I Highly recommend using High Country and will use them again in the future!
I contacted High Country Chevrolet on Saturday September 8, 2018 in regards to a 2012 GMC Denali. When I called I spoke to a used car salesman, and I inquired about receiving more pictures (the photos on the website are low resolution) and some additional information. I informed the salesman that I was not local to the high river area, and would have to drive 4hrs one way to view this truck. He quickly sent me pictures, and informed me that the surface rust on the tail gate is the only mark on the entire truck and that it would be nearly impossible to find a nicer truck for the money. I thought to myself that it was my lucky day and again inquired if there was any other damage or imperfections on the vehicle to which I was informed there was not. Well 4hrs later I arrive in High River, with money in hand to purchase said vehicle. and thats when reality closed in. Here are a few of many imperfections noticed at first glance.-The wheel wells had been professionally linexd (actually another rock guard, not linex), which conveniently hides the rust that was delaminating the paint behind the new coating. -The front bumper has a very significant scrape.-Front lower grill is rusted, pitted, and cracked.-The driver side bedside has clear coat runs indicating that it was repainted some point in its life.-Passenger side bedside, the rocker has begun rusting quite significantly. -Rear bumper is rusting and has multiple dents. -The tailgate has 3 major dents, and is rusting (I was informed about the rust).-The carpet on the interior appears to have had some sort of water damage at some point, the carpeting is bristly and discoloured in spots.All in all I wasted 8hrs of my day, and gas money to view what I was informed was a clean truck. I definitely dont believe this to be fair business practice, and I personally believe that I was intentionally deceived in hopes of making a sale once I arrived. Please be wary of unsavoury business practices, not everything is as good as it may seem.
I couldn't be happier with my new Buick! This is my first car and Cathy did the most amazing job guiding me to the car that would work best for me. She's truly wonderful and I'm so pleased she helped me!
I bought my very first car here at High Country Chev and Had no idea how anything worked. Chad Turner and Kathy Brown took cery very good care of me, I was more than happy with the amount of support from everyone, and the constant happiness to just see me come in in the afternoon to chat. No matter who you talk to at this dealership you can be sure you will be taken care of, and your needs will always come first. All in all, great first time for buying a car, everything turned out as planned and Im thrilled with the help I got, and also so happy that I have my car BEFORE the day I expected to have it.
