I've taken my dog here a couple times and while I think they are great if you have insurance, if you are paying out of pocket, take everything they say with a grain of salt. Every single time I went I heard that it could be nothing serious or it could be cancer. And that we should test for cancer just in case. Surprise! It wasn't cancer, just an infection. Edit: they do give you an estimate of cost and it is certainly more reasonable than Calgary prices. After experiencing other staff at the clinic I've concluded at least one vet is better at presenting options and explainations than the other. The staff were very caring during our recent visit and I was thankful for them. I've changed my star rating from 2 to 4 and updated this review as a result.

We have been going to Highview Animal Clinic for several years now. Today we had the pleasure of meeting Dr Mark Clarkson - what an amazing fellow! He took the time to explain many of our concerns with "Bella" our senior boxer girl. Both my husband and I were so impressed with his "bedside manner"! It was so refreshing to have a doctor listen to our concerns and give us a clear answer! He even had treats for Bella and advising him that she was such a fussy girl, she took the treats and looked for more! Thanks so much Dr Clarkson - we are very impressed with you and Highview Animal Clinic - they are lucky to have you!Jack & Diane Mayberry
