The food was fast and very good. We were there later so it was quiet. The server was warm and welcoming.
Wasnt able to eat there. Restaurant closed early because cook already worked all day.
Usually so fast you would think it's "fast food" quality but definitely better than that lol. Friendly staff and the owner seems to be very hands on. I eat there often and see him usually pitching in whether it's clearing plates from tables or just chatting people up. Staff has told me he's great to work for
Ordered calamari as an appetizer... hard to call it appetizing when there was hardly nothing on the plate. Returned it only to have the kitchen and owner talk so loud about it being returned, that we could hear it clearly at our table. Slow service, forgot our drinks, no cutlery, no ketchup, had to grab them off another table, we were the third table to ask for cutlery and sauce. Portion size of our plates were also sad and pathetic. I've been to Joey's Only before and it was nothing like this. Then to be informed by our server that the owner is still going to charge us for the returned item that we didn't even touch was the last straw. What a joke. If you're a fish and chip place, maybe try actually serving fish and chips. Won't be back.
