Quiet and relaxing. Clean camp ground. Continously patrol by attendants and RCMP. No partyers a allowed!!! Close to everything you need.
Not necessarily my style of camping (prefer crown land and more secluded style) but I've been here twice now with a company camping trip. Very nice park, large stalls, and large areas for cooking and campfires. The washrooms and showers are in good shape and kept clean. Only complaint, and it's not the camps fault, but a ridiculous bi-law in High River stating you can't have hammocks attached to trees. I guess everywhere has their own stupid bi-laws, but we were sure shocked at that one.
Great park to walk in, trails on one side. Nice setup for family get togethers at the B.B.Q pits. Camping spots are decently setup. And the river is just over the berm.
So we are nuch more on the positive side of a review here only because my wife is a HUGE heartland fan. Since this park gets used in video production, and the town of highriver also gets used, she was beyond happy. Its a simple campground and nothing overly fancy and spectacular, but it does waht it was desinged to do. The staff is very attentive and i never had issues with questions with the staff.
