Bob is a great guy and is very detail orientated, allowing my family to get way more money back from taxes than we could ever do from filing on our own. Even though I'm sure he's insanely busy during tax season, he always takes the time to respond to emails very quickly and also spends quite a bit of time with us going over all the details of our tax returns. Highly recommend.
An accountant with this firm was recommended to me, personally. On calling to to book an appointment with her, I received a decidedly cool and unhelpful response from the receptionist, however was assured the acciuntant would call me back. The receptionist then called me back to "ask how I heard about" this accountant - as if this mattered? On advising her where I heard about her I was assured that "this was helpful". I thought I'd cleared that hurdle - although thought it was a little weird! I then received a telephone call from the owner/partner at 7.30pm where I was asked in a rather brisk tone, what it was wanted. When I said I was confused, I was looking for an appointment with this accountant, I was told that "she worked for him: and what was it I was looking for from her. Really?! Actally, as I told the receptionist originally, we were looking for her to assist in filing our taxes, after several changes in our circumstances (without being too specific on a public forum). I certainly didn't expect the third degree and I certainly didn't expect to receive such a decidedly rude response. Feeling I was being asked to jump through way too many hoops - and feeling that I'd probably rather not deal with this firm after all, I politely declined to proceed any further and said I'd look elsewhere. Not sure quite what I'm missing here! But I wouldn't bother dealing with this company unless you think you may be one of the coveted few who are worthy of their attention.
